About us

AIRC Peer Review Office, the Post Award Grant Management Office and the Scientific Information Systems Office are the three main units within AIRC Scientific Directorate. They are led by its Scientific Director, coordinated by the Chief Scientific Officer and supported by a Secretariat.

AIRC Peer Review Office (APRO): is in charge of the scientific itinerary of grants and fellowships. The staff write calls for proposals; organize the evaluation process; recruit and manage reviewers; assign reviewers to proposals by matching expertise and in compliance with conflict of interest rules; do follow up analysis. Also, they scientifically valid AIRC content for dissemination and outreach.

Post Award Grant Management Office (PAGMO): is in charge of fund delivery and administrative monitoring of grants. The staff reminds grantees of administrative deadlines, write guidelines for eligible costs and use of funds, and organize external financial audits.

Scientific Information Systems Office (ASISO): is in charge of PAGES, the IT platform to present, evaluate and handle grants and fellowships. The staff takes care of the platform, its implementation and security.

Secretariat: is in charge of the office organization and of documentation handling. The staff supports all the functions of AIRC Scientific Directorate.
